PUBLIC NOTICE

This is in continuation of the Public Notice No. MCA21/28/2014-eGov dated 28^th March, 2014 informing stakeholders of the availability of the new E-Forms prescribed under the Companies Act, 2013 from 14^th April, 2014. After a careful review it has been decided that there could be a single phase roll-out instead of the earlier notified staggered roll out for convenience of all concerned. Accordingly, all E-Forms will be available for upload with effect from 28^th April, 2014.

Inconvenience caused due to the revised roll out schedule is regretted.

MCA vide Notification No. GSR 217(E) [F.No.5/29/2013-IEPF], Dated 27-3-2014 notifies Investor Education and Protection Fund (Uploading of information regarding unpaid and unclaimed amounts lying with Companies) Amendment Rules, 2014, by making amendment in Rules 2, 3 and Form 5 INV and accordingly the definition of “Corresponding New Banks” has been inserted and all such banks have to ensure transfer of unclaimed dividend to earmarked a/c within 90 days of holding their annual general meeting which remains unpaid or unclaimed for a period of seven years from the date of such transfer. They shall come into force with effect from the 31st march, 2014

Nomenclature of various forms prescribed under the provisions of Companies Act, 2013 being notified

Nomenclature of various forms prescribed under the provisions of Companies Act, 2013 being notified 

In order to facilitate easy understanding of the e-forms being rolled out under the provisions of Companies Act, 2013 and Rules made thereunder, the stakeholders are hereby informed that unlike numbering of various forms under the Companies Act, 1956, forms under the new Act are mandatorily numbered alpha-numeric. Initial of forms is to be started with alphabet of two or three letters based on the subject of the Chapter, followed by serial number of the form. This will define the nature of the forms and would be easy to recognise.

There are total 29 chapters under the Companies Act, 2013. Chapters I and XXIII have been notified but no form is prescribed under these chapters. Following table is the summary of chapter wise nomenclature of forms
